... But the 5.0 burbles by and you can't stop thinking about what could have been.

I choked on my chicken (HAAAAAA) reading/seeing that THAAAAANKS

That bride is in for a shock. Or maybe she’s into it.
Also, 3.5TT>5.0

Which mustang has that motor?

T he one I want. A ctually, I ’d take the 2.7. The way it performs in our F150, it would be gangbusters in a ‘S tang.

I was thinking about the F-150. It has both the Ecoboost and the 5.0. You are right though, i n a Mustang 5.0>2.3.

There’s m ore going on here than just engine sizes.

Yo u choked your chicken on that photo? Well, there is something for everyone in it, I suppose. No need to share which part did it for you.

TMI. We do not want to hear about your chicken choking adventures.

I think it is more likely that the bride is going to loose the groom to the 5.0
burble.

Probably unpopular opinion: The “burble” of the 5.0 sounds awful. I hear it and it mainly sounds like the car isn’t working properly.
If you want me to get excited about a V8, bring me a Maserati or something.

Or maybe he’s hoping she won’t notice that guy.

All I see here is the dude checking out the guy back there, which tells me that he’s into the burble.

I’m into straight
pipes but that burble is distracting.

I love this.

V6s always sound like theyre dying tho. I hate the sound and feel of them in general

Bro, do you even Busso?
There are worse sounding things than the 2.7EB, but I admit it is quite meh.

He’s gorgeous. I love his choice of shoes.

I drove the 3.5 turbo and the 5.0 f150
I bought the 5.0 f150
I’ve done the turbo 6 thing before the truck and I prefer the response of the NA V8.

I mean, why buy special beach shoes? Wear what you got!
![]() 10/04/2018 at 20:25 |

Yeah the sound alone would deter me from ever buying an ecoboost.

As I typed it out I was literally thinking about the Busso and how it does sound good. For the most part what I say holds true tho in my experience. I like engines that seem eager to be pushed not ones that sound like I’m hurting them and most sound like that lol. My one friend is all bout W211s and stuff and the E class is awesome but that V6 engine will never excite me lol

The Busso v6 is truly a special engine... I’ve owned a 164-s and the only thing that comes close as far as power delivery and “feel” is a flat-plane v8.
The 2.7EB has amazing power. Truly impressive power. Nut-busting torque and a top-end that keeps delivering more and isn’t breathless, It somehow manages to be simultaneously diesel-like AND high-strung, but it’s delivery feels... I don’t know, artificial? In real world applications it is a deeply impressive piece of powertrain engineering, but it lacks soul.

wow prude

On a Mustang heck yea, the 5.0L V8 is the right motor. O n a F150 I rather have the 3.5L , heck even the 2.7L is amazing. I honestly don’t know if I could choose the 5.0 over the 2.7L now that I have both.

Maseratis are cross-plane.
